In Spain, Afvalzorg has built an impressive track record on landfill gas projects. Since 2011 we have contributed to reducing landfill gas emissions and optimising landfill management at various landfill sites and collaborated with many local stakeholders.

What started as a small landfill gas consultancy project in Irun in 2011 in the Basque Country has grown into a portfolio with many projects in the field of landfill gas emission research and inventories, design, construction and optimisation of landfill gas recovery systems, management of landfill gas projects, landfill firefighting, support of the Basque Government.
